$89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001).

Lead and manage internal and external quality audits, ensuring corrective actions are identified and implemented effectively.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Oversee root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for non-conformances and customer complaints.

Manage and develop the quality team, providing training and leadership to foster a culture of quality awareness.

Establish and monitor key quality metrics and performance indicators, reporting on trends and driving data-driven decisions.

Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to integrate quality requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Recommended Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.

5+ years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.

Strong leadership and communication skills with experience managing quality teams and driving continuous improvement.

ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Manager/Organizational Excellence, Certified Quality Engineer) highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

Lead Auditor certification for ISO 9001 or relevant industry standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949)

Experience with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) or data visualization tools

Direct experience in a highly regulated manufacturing sector (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive)

Proficiency with specific Quality Management System (QMS) software platforms
