Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and optimize foundry processes for molding, melting, and casting across both new and existing product lines.
Diagnose and resolve casting defects, initiating corrective and preventive actions to ensure quality, compliance, and process stability.
Support daily production activities by maintaining accurate process routings, ERP data, and technical documentation.
Analyze raw material chemistry and calculate precise furnace charge compositions.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, efficiency, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams-existing engineering, quality, and operations to meet aggressive production and project demands.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in Metal Casting or Foundry Manufacturing or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in Engineering with 1+ year of relevant experience or in lieu of a degree, 9+ years of hands-on experience in Casting or Foundry Operations.

Preferred
Experience with bronze alloys and stainless-steel casting processes.
Background working with large-scale castings (5–80 tons) and no-bake molding methods.
Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Experience in lean manufacturing environments.
Proficiency with casting simulation and solidification software such as MAGMA Flo, ProCAST, or Flow-3D.
