Key Responsibilities
Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap.
Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts.
Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Analyze process data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, quality, R&D) to achieve operational goals.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
3+ years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot processes, analyze data, and implement improvements.
Experience with P&ID interpretation, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and equipment specification.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
Proficiency with advanced data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP, Python for statistical analysis).
Experience with manufacturing automation systems (e.g., robotics, PLCs, SCADA).
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis.
