Hydraulic Systems Engineer
will execute hydraulic systems design and analysis in support of legacy aircraft sustainment, modification, and upgrade efforts for active defense platforms.
Responsibilities for the Hydraulic Systems Engineer Mid include:
Perform hydraulic systems design, analysis, and documentation for legacy aircraft platforms
Update drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to support modification and sustainment efforts
Support testing activities, supplier coordination, and integration efforts
Analyze hydraulic subsystem performance across landing gear, braking, actuation, and flight control systems
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve system-level issues
Required Qualifications for the Hydraulic Systems Engineer Mid include:
5+ years of mechanical or aerospace engineering experience, with at least 3 years in hydraulic or control systems
Experience with aerospace hydraulic systems and legacy aircraft platforms
Strong fundamentals in hydraulic system analysis and troubleshooting
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
Active or eligibility for a DOD Secret clearance
Compensation for the Hydraulic Systems Engineer Mid include:
Salary Range: $80,000-$119,000 depending on experience
