Lead Engineers (Level 4)
specializing in
Landing Gear and Hydraulic Systems Design and Analysis
to join our Air Vehicle Engineering team. In this role, you will support modifications and upgrades for advanced aerospace programs, including airborne surveillance, bombers, and executive transport systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and provide technical quality review of the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid systems to establish the system design
Lead activities to validate and verify mechanical and fluid systems requirements
Lead the development, maintenance, or modification of system components' designs/proposals to provide installation and detail documentation
Lead technical meetings and planning efforts, presents technical information to wide range of audiences
Manage supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals
Prioritize, delegate and track performance and documentation of analyses of fluid systems/mechanisms/landing gear/ordnance components and systems selecting appropriate methods to validate or assess the design
Support proposal preparation and new business development efforts
Train and coach others
Work under minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications:
(Level 4) 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Active U.S. Secret Clearance or higher
5+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering schematics, and specifications
Demonstrated project management skills within a fast paced highly integrated environment
Demonstrated ability to plan and conduct technical
