Radiology Technologist: PRN
Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a PRN Radiology Technologist. We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI). USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own.
The Radiology Technologist is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. The Radiology Technologist will perform multiple procedures under the direction of specialized physicians, including operation of special imaging and radiology equipment. Skilled at sterile field assistance during operating room and pain management procedures. Maintains a professional relationship with physicians and staff.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a professional accredited program in Radiology Technology
Licensure: Current Virginia State License (MRT)
Certifications: AART Registered; BLS required
Experience: 1 year hospital experience required; 2 years’ ambulatory experience preferred
Good command of the English language, both verbal and written
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Independent decision making skills
Excellent customer service skills
Advocate of patient safety and quality of care
Maintain standards of Radiology care within the Center in compliance with professional standards and recommended procedures based in local, state, and federal regulations
