I'm working with one of the fastest-growing investment banks, and we’re seeking an
Equity Research Associate
to join their
Biotech
coverage team. This is a hands-on role at a dynamic mid-market bank, offering exposure to cutting-edge biotech companies and the opportunity to contribute directly to research that drives institutional investment and strategic deals.
Who We’re Looking For
3-5 years of experience in
equity research, investment banking, consulting, or buy-side/healthcare investing .
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
Solid knowledge of biotech and life sciences, including familiarity with clinical and regulatory processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth fundamental research on public and private biotech companies.
Build and maintain financial models, including forecasts, valuations, and scenario analysis.
Analyze clinical data, product pipelines, and regulatory developments to support investment theses.
Draft research reports and company updates for institutional clients.
Support senior analysts on company meetings, calls, and due diligence for potential deals.
