Maintenance Engineer
to join the team! Located in the vibrant Uptown district, just steps from The Galleria, Hilton Houston Post Oak blends elegance with convenience. Team members enjoy working in a stylish hotel featuring spacious guest rooms, an outdoor pool, a 24‑hour fitness center, and multiple dining options including The Promenade and Brittany Bar. Classification:
Full‑Time
Shift:
Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays. (Mostly 2‑3 days overnight, 11:00 pm‑7:00 am, and other days may be AM or PM shifts)
Pay Rate:
$18.00 per hour, based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Responsibilities
Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart‑of‑the‑house areas.
Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner to assess and repair non‑functioning machinery and/or equipment.
Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work, and masonry.
Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs.
Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention.
