Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital
is looking for a
Surgical Service Coordinator
to be the Lead Technician for our Surgery and Neurology departments. In this key role, you’ll help keep our teams on track, ensure smooth workflow, and support exceptional patient care.
Schedule Tuesday–Friday, 9 AM–6 PM (no weekends!)
Compensation $27–$35/hour
(even higher for VTS!)
What You’ll Do
Coordinate all procedures and add-ons for Surgery and Neurology, keeping the day running smoothly
Monitor treatment queues and check off completed tasks
Assign and delegate cases to maintain efficient workflow
Assist with patient treatments in both Surgery and Neurology
Ensure top‑quality patient care through digital treatment sheets
Keep the team productive during downtime by proactively assigning tasks
Wrap up end‑of‑day responsibilities efficiently
Communicate with leadership if extra support is needed
Who You Are
Highly organized and skilled at multitasking
Clear communicator and natural leader
Comfortable in a fast‑paced clinical setting
Team player with a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading)
are required for the role.
