Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical Writer (Workforce Development) to join their team. As a Technical Writer (Workforce Development), you will be an integral part of the Training and Documentation Administration team supporting organizational growth and workforce development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach to documentation management, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

Maintain and update technical documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.

Manage documentation systems, including file storage repositories and controlled documentation systems for change management.

Support the learning management system (LMS) by creating, maintaining, and archiving training records and certifications.

Extract, analyze, and visualize data to develop reports, graphs, and charts that support decision-making processes.

Lead documentation projects by creating project charters, executing work breakdown structures, and monitoring project progress.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

At least 5 years of experience in technical documentation.

Minimum of 3 years of workforce development experience.

Proficiency with advanced documentation authoring software such as MadCap Flare or FrameMaker.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and managing SharePoint lists and libraries.
