Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and specifications. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances. Monitor manufacturing processes using statistical process control (SPC) to ensure product quality. Collaborate with design, production, and supply chain teams to integrate quality standards. Conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO, IATF). Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Investigate and resolve customer quality complaints, driving continuous improvement initiatives. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field. 2+ years of experience in a quality engineering role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, MSA, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis like 8D/5 Whys). Solid understanding and practical application of ISO 9001 quality management systems. Experience managing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and non-conformance processes. Bonus Qualifications
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). Experience conducting internal or external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Familiarity with CAD software or metrology equipment. Job Titles That Should Apply
