R13635**Job Summary**As an **Industrial Digitalization & Advanced Process Control Engineer**, you will act as a guardian for the performance of critical batch assets (such as fermentation, microfiltration/recovery, spray drying, and freeze drying) by designing and optimizing advanced process control (APC) strategies and building robust industrial data flows. Your potential is our inspiration!**Where You’ll Make a Difference*** Safeguard the performance of critical batch assets through advanced process control strategies and robust data flows* Design and validate ISA-88 recipe/SFC structures and implement APC methods in PLC/DCS (Emerson DeltaV)* Ensure compliance with GAMP validation and structured change management (MOC)* Integrate process, quality, and genealogy data across AVEVA PI, MES, LIMS, and SAP for traceability and analytics* Drive vertical integration from the shop floor to ERP using ISA-95 standards* Apply advanced analytics and modeling to optimize efficiency and quality* Maintain OT cybersecurity and network integrity* Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, IT/OT, and Engineering teams to deliver reliability and continuous improvement**What Makes You the Right Fit*** Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering, Process Control, or related field* 5–8+ years in batch process industries (biotech, food ingredients, specialty chemicals, pharma)* Proven experience with ISA-88 recipe management and GAMP validation* Hands-on PLC/DCS experience (Emerson DeltaV) preferred and considered a significant advantage.* Strong knowledge of AVEVA PI (AF/EF), MES interfaces, and ISA-95 data integration* Familiarity with OT cybersecurity and formal change control procedures* Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills* Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive compliance* Experience with advanced analytics tools (Seeq, TrendMiner, TwinThread)* Statistical analysis skills (JMP, Minitab, AspenTech ProMV, SIMCA)* Model Predictive Control experience (AspenTech DMCPlus, Simulink)* Python programming and familiarity with graph databases (Neo4j)* Change-agent mindset with strong stakeholder management and coaching ability* Become a part of a global leader driving innovation in health & biosciences* Work on cutting-edge automation and digitalization projects* Collaborate with diverse, talented teams across multiple disciplines* Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth* Make a tangible impact on sustainability and operational excellence* Join a culture that values creativity, integrity, and collaborationWe encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible, but at the latest by 01/21/2026.
