Job Description As a Senior AWS Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for developing cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks. You will implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices and support a robust, hybrid cloud infrastructure that provides the necessary backbone for delivering high-bandwidth services.

U.S. Citizenship is required
Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
This position is onsite 5/days a week in Chantilly, VA
May require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessions
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years focused on AWS cloud technologies. In absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level.
Experience with SAFe Agile framework.
Strong understanding of cloud security requirements in government environments.
Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or equivalent) preferred.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
Plans and leads major technology assignments.
Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
May supervise others.

Responsibilities
Responsible for developing the cloud service delivery models and architectural framework to enable Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data as a Service (DaaS).
Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
Analyze applications and make recommendations across multiple areas to identify what platforms can move, migrate, and/or be deployed into a cloud environment.
Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-site premises services.
Develop and implement cloud applications and migrate existing on-premises applications to the AWS cloud.
Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for the use of AWS cloud services, including requests for new technology.
Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability/uptime design.
Work independently designing and developing new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.
Enhance existing cloud software for performance and scalability.
Participate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activities.
Support the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret).
Collaborate with infrastructure and development teams to ensure seamless integration.
