Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Phlebotomist.
Position: Phlebotomist
Position type: Full time Contract
Location: Des Peres MO 63131
Duration: 3 months
Shift / Schedule: 7:30am - 4pm Central time zone
As a Phlebotomist II, you will be responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures. You will have direct contact with patients, create an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures, and draw blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
Perform verification of patient demographic info and initials, including patient signature post‑venipuncture to verify tube labels were correct.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Work Experience
1‑3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
Keyboard/data entry experience.

Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range: $20 - $25.00 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
