Job Description
Phlebotomist – Full time Contract, location Parker CO, duration 3 months, shift Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm MST.
As a Phlebotomist you will be responsible for:
Drawing quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
Having direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.
Drawing blood specimens in a skilful, safe, and accurate manner.
Performing verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipuncture to verify tubes labelled in their presence and correct label.
Maintaining required records and documentation.
Required Education
High school diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED).
Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, Washington.
Work Experience
1-3 years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred.
Keyboard / data entry experience.
This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis.

Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range: $20 - $25.00 per hour.
Pay range offered will be based on factors including education, work experience, location, duties, certifications, etc.
