Position Summary The Clinical Research Associate will work at the Mind & Brain Health Labs (MBHL, Department of Neurological Sciences) with the principal investigator and research team to coordinate, develop, and conduct clinical research projects aimed at improving patient health, disease treatment, and quality of life in individuals who are aging or have neurological, psychiatric, physiologic, or other medical disorders.
Will assist with clinical research projects from start to finish to support successful communication, coordination, regulatory and protocol compliance, and work across a diverse, multidisciplinary team to meet project goals.

Required and Preferred Qualifications Required Education High School education or equivalent (Will consider three years related post high school education/experience).
Required Experience 3 years of experience related to healthcare, laboratory and/or clinical research (Will consider three years related post high school education/experience).
Required License No.
Required Computer Applications Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint.
Preferred Education Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Health, Science or related field.
Preferred Experience
1‑3 years experience in social, cognitive, or health science lab, with data collection, recruitment, and conducting studies with research participants.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Photoshop/Acrobat.
Experience and background in the administration of cognitive and neuropsychological tests.
Experience working with elderly and patient populations.
Experience with general programming languages (Python, shell scripting) or statistical software (SPSS, SAS, R, MATLAB).
Basic knowledge of statistics.
Electrical, mechanical, or computer troubleshooting skills.
Preferred License Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of researchers.
Understanding physical, cognitive, visual, psychologic impairments of subjects with neurological disorders and ability to interact with them in a patient and professional manner.
Strong interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team.
