We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and implement electrical systems and components. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with safety standards and deliver innovative solutions for complex electrical engineering challenges.
ChromoLogic LLC (www.chromologic.com) is a world-class innovation center with advanced scientific research and development in the medical, aerospace and security markets. Covisus Inc. (www.covisus.com) is a VC-funded spin‑off from ChromoLogic that has developed an award‑winning and industry‑leading technology for tagless tracking of assets based on its vTag® technology.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test electrical systems and equipment
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for projects
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in systems and products
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project success
Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations
Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities
Ability to obtain clearance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years hands‑on experience in electrical engineering, ideally with early TRL stage technologies and/or rapid prototyping
Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MATLAB)
Strong understanding of circuit design, power systems, and control systems
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
