This is an Accounts Receivable position for a multifamily real estate property with affordable residential units working closely with the accounting and property management teams. This position will report directly to the Controller.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General accounts receivable (A/R)
Experience with Yardi
Post and reconcile payments and chargebacks
Section 8 /SCRIE/DRIE payments & adjustments
Prepare and distribute rent statements each month
Charge interest and late fees
Assist with annual CAM and property tax reconciliations
Update Yardi records about invoices, payments and correspondence
Process move-outs and refunds
Provide back-up to operations
Post updates to ledger
Prepare monthly and ad hoc reports
Monthly Bank Reconciliations
Reconcile Escrow accounts w/ SD report
Bad Debt write offs
Monthly Postings
Requirements:
Yardi
Section 8 Tenants
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Ability to multi-task while upholding strong attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
