Temp-to-Hire Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Incoming Kitter
to support manufacturing operations by receiving, organizing, and kitting incoming materials. This
2nd shift, temp-to-hire
position plays a key role in ensuring production lines have the correct parts, in the correct quantities, at the right time. Key Responsibilities: Receive and verify incoming materials and parts against packing lists and work orders
Prepare kits of components for production based on work instructions
Label, organize, and stage materials for assembly and manufacturing teams
Maintain accurate inventory counts and report discrepancies
Follow FIFO procedures and material handling guidelines
Use scanners or basic computer systems to track inventory (as applicable)
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Communicate shortages, damaged materials, or quality issues to supervision
Qualifications: Previous kitting, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic computer or scanner experience a plus
Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to required limits during the shift
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
