Urology locums coverage needed in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to support a hospital-based urology service with a mix of clinic coverage, operating room time, and system call.
This opportunity is well suited for an experienced general urologist comfortable with full-scope urology, including clinic, procedures, and inpatient consults, within a collaborative care model.
Key RequirementsBoard certified in Urology
Fellowship training required
Comfortable with adult urology and inpatient consults
Ability to manage clinic coverage and operative cases
Prior hospital-based urology experience preferred
Location: Stevens Point, WI
Start: December 2025
Schedule:
Full-time clinic coverage
2 3 days per week of OR time
Approximately 7 10 days of system call per month, including one weekend
Clinic volume: Approximately 16 patients per day
Practice setting: Inpatient and outpatient
Rounding: Assigned patients
EMR: Epic
Support: APP, nursing, and office staff support
System-based call, primarily out of Wausau
Call expectations reviewed in advance
Provider rate: $350 per hour
Call compensated per established structure
Travel and lodging handled per standard locums arrangements
Temporary privileges available
Estimated credentialing timeframe approximately 90 days
