Urology Physician

Urology locums coverage needed in Shelby, North Carolina for a hospital-based urology service supporting both outpatient clinic and inpatient consults.

This role is well suited for a general urologist comfortable with weekday clinical coverage, inpatient consults, and in-house call, within a stable and established practice environment.

• Board eligible or board certified in Urology

• Fellowship-trained urologist preferred

• Comfortable with adult urology and routine inpatient consults

• Ability to manage clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, and call responsibilities

• Prior hospital-based urology experience preferred

• Location: Cleveland, NC

• Start: July 2026

• Schedule: Weekday coverage with call

• Practice setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient consults

• Patient volume: Approximately 5 patients per shift

• Hospital size: 130-bed facility with ED support

• Rounding: Unassigned patients

• EMR: Epic

• In-house call

• Call ratio approximately 1:5

• Average callbacks approximately 15 percent

• Call structure reviewed during screening

• Provider rate: $290 per hour

• Call and callback compensated per established structure

• Travel and lodging handled per standard locums arrangements

• Active North Carolina license required

• Estimated credentialing timeframe days

• Temporary privileges not available
