The candidate will work on complex legal issues, engage with clients directly, and stay updated on the latest developments in labor and employment law. Location:
Newport Beach, California Duties: Represent clients in employment-related litigation, including wage and hour disputes and single-plaintiff employment cases. Draft legal documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements. Provide strategic legal counsel to clients on labor and employment issues. Manage a diverse caseload focusing on complex litigation and class actions. Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies. Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials as needed. Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular case updates. Contribute to the growth and development of the practice group. Requirements: At least two years of civil litigation experience, preferably in labor and employment law. Experience with wage and hour class action litigation is highly desirable. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently and within a team. Excellent communication and client service skills. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active membership in the State Bar of California. Skills: Civil litigation and trial preparation experience. Knowledge of California labor and employment laws, including wage and hour regulations. Strong legal writing and drafting skills. Effective client interaction and practical legal advice skills. Proficiency in legal research and case management tools. Ability to handle complex legal matters with significant responsibility.
