What You Will Be Doing

Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.

Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage children and foster a lasting passion for reading.

Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve methods and identify practical insights.

Partnering with the engineering team to assess and refine AI‑powered literacy solutions.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).

At least 2 years of experience delivering small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students.

Skilled at assessing reading levels, grouping students, and designing differentiated instruction without pre‑written curricula.

Proficient with AI/adaptive learning tools and responsive to student behaviors within them.

Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Willingness to work on‑site at one of our campuses: Chantilly (Washington), VA; Lake Forest (Orange County), CA; San Francisco, CA; Miami, FL; or New York City, NY.

Working with Us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
