Senior Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for all task-based Central Services activities. Central Services activities include decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instrumentation; assembly and delivery of surgical and interventional procedure case carts; paring and replenishment of materials; and receiving and distribution of Central Services supplies.

Qualifications
Coursework/Training and completion of formal Central Services Technician course or successfully challenged Course test
Upon hire:
National Certified Registered Central Service Technician – Healthcare Sterile Processing Association – or –
National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician – Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
Three years of related experience with surgical instrumentation in hospital Sterile Processing/ Central Services environment
Preferred Qualifications
Materials management and/or supply chain experience
