Senior Environmental Engineer – Environmental Services
Location: Houston, TX

Job type: Full‑time, Permanent Base pay range: $120,000.00/yr – $160,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Lead or support engineering design for environmental systems and facilities, including stormwater, wastewater, remediation, waste containment, and restoration projects.
Develop engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, design reports, cost estimates, and work plans.
Perform hydraulic and environmental modeling using industry‑standard software.
Review and direct work completed by junior engineers, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
Prepare and present technical reports, engineering studies, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
Conduct or oversee field activities, including construction oversight and preparation of Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) documentation.
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and client expectations.
Support business development efforts, including maintaining and building client and regulatory relationships.
Provide mentorship, training, and technical guidance to junior staff.
Participate in internal and external presentations as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental, Civil, or related Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
Professional Engineer (PE) License
required.
Minimum 7 years of environmental or civil engineering experience.
Experience overseeing construction activities and strong understanding of field practices preferred.
Experience in project management or assistant project management preferred.
Proficiency with design and modeling software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or GIS.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Ability to travel approximately 10% as needed.
