BLOOD BANK SUPERVISOR

Full-time, Day Shift
Position Purpose: Responsible for the daily operation of the Blood Bank Department.
What You Will Do Staffing, training, scheduling, supply management and supervision of testing performed. Maintain policy and procedures in accordance with CAP guidelines and monitor quality control practices in the Core Lab. Recognize results or problems that require referral to the Pathologist or Laboratory Director.
What You Will Need Licensure: Medical Technologist, ASCP, AMT or NCA. Education: B.S. in Medical Technology or Applied Sciences; 5 years’ experience; alternative MT methods may substitute for degree. Experience: 5 or more years’ experience preferred.
