Red Mountain Sedona is a mindfulness-based, independent living program dedicated to empowering young adults to build fulfilling and productive lives. Located in the breathtaking Red Rocks of Sedona, Arizona, the program integrates meditation, trauma-informed yoga, life skills education, and multi-modal therapies to promote personal growth and resilience. Guided by Core Values of Mindfulness, Safety, Confidence, Compassion, and Growth, Red Mountain Sedona provides a supportive and holistic environment for overcoming challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. Students develop independence through meaningful work, education opportunities, and therapeutic support while residing in supervised, fully furnished apartments. This is a full-time, on-site position for a Mental Health Therapist at Red Mountain Sedona, located in Sedona, Arizona. The role involves providing therapy services to young adults, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions. The therapist will collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to create and implement customized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and facilitate interventions. Using a trauma-informed and mindfulness-based approach, the therapist will support students in overcoming challenges and developing the skills needed for independent living.
Qualifications
Proven ability and experience with Treatment Planning, diagnostic assessments, and clinical interventions
Skills and experience in Individual, Group and Family Therapy
Strong communication, empathy, and active listening skills
Commitment to trauma-informed practices and mindfulness-based approaches
Experience working with young adults with emotional, behavioral, or mental health challenges
Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Mental Health Professional
