Overview
Job Title: Psych Registered Nurse or Chemo/Infusion RN
Location: Charleston, SC 29401
Duration: 3 Months to long term
Shift: Day/Night (12 Hrs)
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in acute psychiatric units
Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans
Manage psychiatric and medical emergencies, detox, and withdrawal
Administer medications and maintain patient safety
Insert and maintain IV lines
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
Transport patients as needed and maintain a therapeutic environment
Document patient care accurately
May work with COVID-19 positive patients or PUI
Chemotherapy / Infusion RN
Administer chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments
Monitor patient responses and manage infusion reactions
Access and manage PICC lines, Port-A-Cath, and other devices
Interpret labs and assess treatment readiness
Administer blood products, high-alert meds, and IV fluids
Provide patient/family education
Document care accurately
Collaborate with oncology and infusion teams
Maintain safe handling of chemotherapy agents
May work with COVID-19 positive patients or PUI
Minimum Requirements
Active RN license in a U.S. state, territory, or DC
2+ years chemo/infusion or psychiatric experience
Must have worked in infusion suite within last 6 months or inpatient psychiatric experience in the last 6 months
Completion of ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Course required for infusion nurses
ONCC certification preferred for infusion nurses
Current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS preferred)
