Position Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant is a member of the nursing team who contributes to the comfort and wellbeing of patients by performing tasks assigned by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications
Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of Florida.
American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Provider.
Two (2) years or more acute‑care experience.
Physical Requirements Hands and wrists: grip a dynamometer for 10 seconds with force >25 lb. and pinch thumb & forefinger for 10 seconds with >5 lb. Elbows: rotate wrist left‑to‑right while holding a 10‑lb weight; flex and extend fully with a 10‑lb weight. Shoulders: sustain flexion >135° for 10 seconds with a 10‑lb weight; sustain a shoulder shrug for 10 seconds in each hand. Legs: squat and hold for 30 seconds; kneel on one knee, demonstrating on both left and right. Push and pull: push a stationary cart with 40 lb. force; pull a stationary cart with 40 lb. force. Carry: carry a 30‑lb weight for 25 feet. Floor‑to‑table/table‑to‑floor: 35 lb. for females, 50 lb. for males.
Threshold Requirements: Annual Joint Commission mandatory education, in‑service and health requirements including new‑employee orientation, TB/PPD, Surveillance Program; maintenance of required professional licensing and/or certifications.
Location and Salary: West Palm Beach, FL – $17.00‑$18.00 per hour.
