HR Talent Acquisition Specialist I
AEGIS Protective Services • Cincinnati, Ohio • Full‑time • $50,000 per year Aegis Protective Services is seeking a highly organized and tech‑savvy HR, Talent Acquisition, and Benefits Specialist to join our team. The role requires a focused, outgoing person who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The specialist will handle a blend of Human Resource, Talent Acquisition and Benefit Administration tasks. Key Responsibilities
Develop a trusted partnership with Aegis Protective Services leaders, acting as a partner in day‑to‑day operations Foster a culture that enables employees to perform in accordance with the company’s values and mission All other tasks as assigned by the Human Resources Director Oversee visitor relations, welcoming individuals into the lobby and inquiring about their visit Answer the main Aegis Protective Services phone line, transfer calls as needed Assist with non‑phone correspondence such as email or text messages, ensuring timely replies Update the employee bulletin board as needed Assist with office party and event planning Manage Security Officer uniform processes and issuance Recruit for open guard positions – sourcing, interviewing, scheduling onboarding, and sending paperwork Complete onboarding: I‑9 verification through E‑Verify, drug screening, fingerprinting for licensing, and paperwork processing Conduct pre‑employment background tests Complete off‑boarding for terminated employees Maintain accurate employee records through HRIS systems Ensure all administrative policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local law Assist field operations with employee‑related issues such as performance and attendance Assist with benefit administration (Health, 401(k), dental, etc.) and open enrollment Answer all inquiries regarding benefits Position Requirements
Associate’s degree or comparable work experience in Human Resources, Benefits Administration, and/or Office Administration Benefit Administration experience strongly preferred Full‑cycle recruiting experience strongly preferred Proven experience in recruiting, preferably in a fast‑paced environment, and ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously Familiarity with HRIS systems such as UKG Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong technology skills, including Microsoft Office suite, and ability to learn new systems quickly Ability to multitask and highly organized with attention to detail Clear communication skills – speaking, writing, hearing, seeing Normal vision or correctable with glasses/contacts for normal reading and viewing abilities Benefits
