Overview
IT Support Specialist I - Corporate (Las Vegas) at Caesars Entertainment. The IT Support Specialist I provides support on computer hardware and software on the Las Vegas Region IT Property Operations team, assisting end users with installation, upgrade, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems at eight Las Vegas casino properties and back-office facilities. Responsibilities
Address user tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals Identify issues that require escalation Customize desktop applications to meet user needs Assist with special event or project related equipment setups Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel Perform duties as assigned What You Will Need
1 year computer operations experience in an iSeries and/or Windows server environment. Knowledge of basic system commands and error message recognition Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals, such as printers and scanners Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills Customer-oriented attitude College diploma or equivalent experience preferred CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ (preferred, but not required) Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to walk 3+ miles a day through casino properties Work shifts vary NV gaming required This position does not have the ability to work remotely Work Environment
