Job Responsibilities

Administer benefits and perform tasks related to recruitment and onboarding, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

Research, analyze, and administer healthcare plans, from medical and dental benefits to disability and family leave. Advise employees, answer questions, and enroll staff in benefit and compensation programs.

Provide support to employees in HR topics such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any arising issues.

Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.

Develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action.

Serve as the HR liaison in conjunction with the Payroll Administrator.

May perform duties related to payment of bills associated with benefit administration.

Ensure smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries, processing paperwork related to disability, FMLA absences, and employee life status changes.

Other duties as assigned.

Training and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field; 5-7 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

Monitoring and enforcing compliance with laws, rules, and regulations.

Administering employee benefits.

Preparing recruitment advertisements.

Conducting employee orientation.

Maintaining personnel records.

Utilizing communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, the general public, and others.
