We are looking for a curious, data-driven HR Generalist to join our Workforce Solutions team at Equifax. This role bridges HR operations and business strategy, providing comprehensive support to employees and management while contributing to workforce planning and data analysis.

The role is hybrid, with in-office days rotating between our Maryland Heights and Clayton offices, reporting to the VP of HR.

What you’ll do

Partner with HR Business Partners to translate business goals into people requirements, identify talent gaps, and model future hiring needs.

Support onboarding, offboarding, and performance management with a growth mindset, improving workflows.

Contribute to HR initiatives such as compensation planning, talent reviews, performance calibration, and goal setting.

Analyze HR metrics (turnover, engagement, compensation) to identify trends and provide data influencing leadership decisions.

Serve as a point of contact and provide HR support for employees in Technology, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Security, and Data & Analytics functions.

Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence on employee engagement and talent development projects.

Ensure compliance with employment laws while modernizing internal policies, handling investigations, and recommending actions in line with company policies and legal requirements.

What experience you need

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

2‑5 years of progressive HR experience, demonstrating ability to take on new challenges.

Experience working with HR data, comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas) to track headcount, turnover, or key metrics.

Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment law.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to explain HR processes or data trends to diverse stakeholders.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Intellectual curiosity, asking questions, seeking feedback, and enjoying learning new systems and solving complex problems.

What could set you apart

Experience supporting high‑growth functions such as Technology or Engineering.

Proficiency with Workday (reporting or lifecycle management) and Google Workspace.

Prior exposure to headcount tracking, organizational design, or talent gap analysis.

Experience supporting change management or organizational development initiatives.

HR certification such as SHRM‑CP or PHR.
