How do you excel in this position Responsibilities: Utilize computer estimating systems and related software to accurately estimate plan/spec and design/build HVAC systems. Maintain comprehensive estimating logs and unit costs for all projects. Establish and nurture vendor relationships crucial to project success. Conduct site surveys and participate in pre‑bid walkthroughs to ensure thorough project understanding. Collaborate closely with sales and project management teams to ensure projects are executed within budget and in alignment with plans and specifications.

What are we looking for

Associate’s degree in business or engineering.

2-5 years of estimating experience in the HVAC industry with a proven track record is required.

Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and other construction documents.

Knowledge of different types of HVAC systems and their components.

Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Thorough understanding of related trades for the purposes of coordinating various project estimates.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and proficient computer skills.

Additional skills preferred but not required

Bachelor’s degree.
