About the Job
Yoshida Foods International, LLC is looking to hire a Full‑Time Sanitation Technician. This position is responsible for the safe handling of chemicals, thorough cleaning of heavy production equipment, and inspection of equipment to confirm it is clean and in good condition.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay is $18 per hour
Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Schedule: Monday‑Friday availability
Essential Job Duties
Safely handle chemicals.
Follow safety procedures.
Follow sanitation procedures.
Dilute chemicals accurately and learn to test with strips.
Operate equipment in cleaning mode.
From the kettle through the filler, complete chemical treatments and rinses correctly.
Operate equipment safely, using lock‑out/tag‑out if needed to prevent injury to self and coworkers.
Manually clean tools and parts.
Use the appropriate chemicals and procedures.
Inspect for cleanliness.
Clean walls and floors.
Foam the ceiling, walls, strip curtains, and equipment support structures as needed to prevent contamination of equipment.
Remove garbage from production areas.
Other projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience
Attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently and manage time well.
Understanding of how the production equipment flows.
Job Conditions and Environment
Must occasionally lift to 50 lbs.
Must be willing to work in a production environment with varying temperatures.
Standing and moving for the whole shift.
