Key Responsibilities
Leads and supports an assigned Production Area including safety, team focus on risk reduction, and improvements.
Planning daily work and assigning resources and monitoring results.
Hires, mentors, counsels, and coaches employees related to performance and company policies and procedures.
Prioritizes and maintains production progress including workflow by observing steps in process; constraints in flow and equipment; monitoring staffing and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; facilitating corrections and recovery efforts of flow.
Compiles reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs, evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or supervisory role.
Prior experience in a 24/7 production environment or aerospace manufacturing.
Working knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools; 5S preferred.
Willing to work an 2nd shift schedule as needed, including 24/7 coverage as needed.
