Position Summary The Operations Manager is a member of the Store Management team and works under the supervision of the Store Manager to drive store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty through excellent customer service. The Operations Manager maintains an engaged, productive store team through strong leadership, initiative, and leading by example.
Responsibilities
Overall store management, supervision, and policy implementation.
Sales and inventory management.
Employee staffing, training, and development.
Financial management.
Customer service leadership.
Essential Functions
Lead others and work effectively with store crews.
Supervise, assign, and direct activities of the store’s crew.
Effectively communicate information to store crew and supervisors in an open and timely manner.
Support Store Manager with action plans for operational and service improvement.
Assist customers with questions, problems, and complaints.
Promote CVS customer‑service culture (greet, offer help, and thank).
Required Qualifications
Deductive reasoning ability, advanced analytical skills, and computer skills.
Advanced communication, leadership, supervision, and influencing skills.
Ability to work a full‑time flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime, and urgent issue response.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience as a retail manager or supervisor.
Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred but Not Required).
Job Details
Anticipated Weekly Hours: 40
Time Type: Full time
Pay Range: $18.00 – $28.00 per hour (base rate; actual offer dependent on experience, education, geography, and other factors).
