Responsibilities
Build and customize applications on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM modules like Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Create custom scripts, including Business Rules and Script Includes, to automate processes and meet business requirements.
Connect the ServiceNow platform with other systems and applications using technologies like REST/SOAP.
Perform administrative tasks, such as user and role management, system maintenance, and health checks.
Customize user interfaces, forms, and workflows to align with business needs.
Provide end‑user support and troubleshooting for issues related to integrated processes and platform functionality.
Work with end users, stakeholders, and management to define and create reports, dashboards, and data analysis products.
Participate in IT‑related technical process reviews, postmortems, and continual process improvement.
Maintain current ServiceNow and industry certifications while obtaining additional certifications.
Qualifications
Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree.
Experience: 1+ years of related experience.
Experience in developing and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules, especially ITSM.
Experience with integration methods such as SOAP, REST, and web services, including creating and consuming them.
Scripting skill in at least one language – preferably JavaScript.
Exposure to ServiceNow’s data management tools such as Import Sets, Transform Maps, and the CMDB.
Ability to analyze requirements, troubleshoot issues, and develop effective technical solutions.
Understanding of the Agile software testing process and lifecycle, from smoke test to integration to production deployment.
Ability to identify, understand, document, and create functionality aligning with customer value streams.
Organizational and time management skills while working in a rapid software development environment.
Ability to identify and learn new technologies quickly.
Good communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Effective analytical, problem‑solving, and debugging skills.
Active ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator or ability to obtain within 30 days of start.
Additional ServiceNow certifications are nice to have.
Location: State of Louisiana. Candidates residing within 60 miles of the Integrated Technology Center in Bossier City, LA will follow a hybrid work model; those further away will work remotely.
