Summary of Position Provides patients medications and fluids via intravenous injection, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy. The Registered Nurse assesses physical, psychosocial, and learning needs of patients and families, provides patient education, and monitors patients for side effects.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
BLS required prior to orientation completion.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Science in Nursing.
