Our client has a brand new opportunity for a
Field Service Technician
to join their team onsite in Bowling Green, KY and provide unparalleled technical support. This Technician will travel within a radius of up to 125+ miles daily, depending on the area and specific route, and is required to have a valid driver’s license.
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality on-site IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Provide outstanding customer service, building strong client relationships through professional communication
Support IT and data-related tasks, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation
Perform triage, diagnosis, and resolution of issues related to POS systems, PCs, printers, thin clients, access points, servers, and network switch equipment
Understand and troubleshoot AC/DC and backup power concepts when required
Work at heights of 20-25 feet on occasion (lift equipment training provided)
Document all work performed, including notes, resolutions, and ticket closure, daily
Support cabling needs, including copper and fiber installations and connector terminations
Make informed in-field decisions to ensure positive outcomes and minimal downtime
Maintain excellent time management, ensuring efficient route completion and customer support
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1+ year of IT technical support experience in a field service, help desk, or desktop support role
Strong understanding of operating systems, including Windows OS, macOS, and Linux/Unix
Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and perform physical tasks as required
Wage Range The rate for this position is between
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour . Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
