We are seeking a highly skilled

Construction Project Manager

to lead complex, multi‑site commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. This role is ideal for a driven, detail‑oriented professional who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys owning projects end‑to‑end. In this position, you will act as the

owner’s representative , partnering with cross‑functional teams, contractors, and vendors to deliver high‑quality construction projects on time and within budget. You will apply industry best practices in project management, proactively manage risk, and ensure alignment with business objectives while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. This role offers a unique blend of

remote flexibility

and

hands‑on field leadership , requiring regular travel to active project sites in the Raleigh and Wilmington, NC areas. Key Responsibilities

Lead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk Develop and manage detailed project plans using PMBOK‑aligned methodologies and industry best practices Serve as the owner’s representative during construction meetings, site visits, and contractor coordination Review and manage contractor schedules, submittals, schedules of values, payment applications, and change orders Proactively identify issues, resolve conflicts, and drive timely decision‑making with appropriate urgency Prepare and deliver clear project status reports, site visit reports, and executive‑level updates Enforce effective change control processes to minimize scope creep and reduce unnecessary change orders Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure project goals are met Support bid reviews, evaluate construction documents, and provide recommendations to optimize cost, materials, and timelines Apply lessons learned from prior projects to continuously improve project execution and outcomes Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and accountability‑driven project culture Required Skills / Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field 5+ years of experience managing commercial or complex construction projects of varying size and scope PMP certification preferred Strong knowledge of

project management methodologies (PMBOK)

and construction best practices Proven experience acting as an owner’s representative or leading matrixed project teams Proficiency in

MS Project, MS Office, Visio ; familiarity with CAD, CAFM systems, and construction drawings Ability to read, interpret, and manage construction documents, plans, and specifications Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and root‑cause analysis skills Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and client expectations Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing to a team‑oriented environment Retail or multi‑site construction experience is a plus About Seneca Resources
