Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Sandia Senior Suites, located in Albuquerque, NM. The LPN will provide comprehensive nursing care to our residents, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting resident health. Responsibilities also include collaborating with team members, implementing personalized care plans, ensuring compliance with care standards, and providing emotional support to residents and families. The LPN will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, respectful, and compassionate living environment for all residents.
Qualifications
Valid LPN license in the state of New Mexico and current BLS/CPR certification
Proficiency in patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs
Strong organizational and time management skills to document resident health accurately and manage care plans effectively
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members, residents, and families
Empathy, patience, and a positive attitude towards providing senior care
Ability to maintain compliance with healthcare and safety regulations
Experience in a long-term care or senior living facility is an advantage
