Job Summary and Qualifications The Clinical Nurse Coordinator ensures and delivers high quality, patient‑centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. In collaboration with other management team members, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. The CNC serves as a resource person for staff and models a commitment to the organization’s vision, mission, and values.
What You Will Do
Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality patient‑centered care.
Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes.
Support a patient‑first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
Operationalize nursing strategies (e.g., employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives) to improve engagement.
Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, implementing courses of action, training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions to maintain a competitive organization.
Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
Support inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
Registered Nurse Diploma.
