Collect, input, and verify prescription, refill, and patient information and maintain patient records.
Assist pharmacists in filling orders and preparing labels for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals.
Receive and stock incoming medical supplies and drugs.
Refer providers’ calls and medical questions to the pharmacist.
Participate in orientation and assigned training program to attain competency in pharmacy technician duties.
Stay abreast of basic knowledge of pharmacy law, regulations and standards, pharmacy informatics and technology including medication dispensing systems, and pharmacy calculations.
Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
Core Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
State of FL registration.
No experience required (Entry Level).
