Your top priority as a Financial Systems Analyst is to play a key role in supporting the organization’s financial planning and analysis processes. This position will dedicate approximately 70% of its time to managing and optimizing Workday Adaptive Planning and 30% as a Finance Business Partner, providing analytical support and insights to various business units. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of financial systems, and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations. Key Responsibilities
Adaptive Insights Support (70%)
Serve as an administrator for Adaptive Planning, ensuring system integrity, accuracy, and performance.
Maintain and update models, dimensions, and hierarchies to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs.
Develop and automate reports, dashboards, and templates for finance and business stakeholders.
Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT or external vendors for resolution.
Lead system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new features or enhancements.
Train finance team members and end‑users on Adaptive functionality and best practices.
Finance Business Partner (30%)
Collaborate with department leaders to provide financial insights and analysis that drive decision‑making.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for assigned business units.
Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support ad hoc analysis and strategic initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
2 years of experience in financial systems administration and FP&A roles.
Hands‑on experience with Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive Planning) required.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, JDE).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross‑functionally.
Experience with financial modeling and scenario planning.
Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
