Job Summary The Manufacturing Technician will support manufacturing operations during a new product launch as a second-shift process and equipment technician. This role focuses on hands‑on support of production teams, troubleshooting equipment and process issues, and contributing to manufacturing process improvements in a regulated environment. The position offers an opportunity to work on advanced products while directly impacting safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a front‑line process and equipment technician supporting manufacturing operations

Work closely with assemblers to troubleshoot equipment, process, and quality issues

Support new product introductions, process improvements, and cost‑reduction initiatives

Apply lean manufacturing principles and support continuous improvement activities

Train and coach production personnel on manufacturing and testing procedures

Recommend and implement improvements to processes, tooling, fixtures, and equipment

Interpret test data, analyze product performance, and support yield improvement efforts

Assist maintenance teams to ensure continuous operation of production equipment

Support engineers in resolving safety, quality, and process‑related issues

Perform scrap analysis and assist with root‑cause investigations

Communicate key information across shifts and with cross‑functional teams

Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or trade school certification; specialized training or apprenticeship in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field

1–4 years of experience as a manufacturing, process, or equipment technician

Hands‑on experience with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance is strongly preferred

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment

Experience working with assemblers or non‑technical personnel

Strong coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Reliable attendance and ability to work onsite full time in a cleanroom environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or aerospace

Strong mechanical maintenance or equipment repair background

Process‑oriented experience with manufacturing troubleshooting and improvement

Additional Notes

Onsite role in a cleanroom environment, Monday–Thursday

Overtime opportunities may be available on Friday evenings and Saturdays

Local candidates preferred

Candidates with either strong process‑oriented experience or mechanical maintenance/equipment repair backgrounds are encouraged to apply
