Strategic Partner | Recruiting Consultant | Management Professional The Human Resources Generalist supports field and site HR leadership by delivering day-to-day HR services across employee relations, workforce planning, compliance, and HR operations. This role partners closely with business leaders to support a positive employee experience, strong labor relations, and effective HR programs that align with business objectives.
The HR Generalist plays a key role in data analysis, project support, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring policies, programs, and practices are consistently applied.
Responsibilities
Partner with site HR leadership to support effective HR operations
Maintain positive employee and labor relations
Support employee investigations and inquiries under HR leadership guidance
Assist with hourly workforce retention, time and attendance, and bid processes
Analyze and report HR metrics to support workforce planning and decisions
Support onboarding, orientation, and training initiatives
Assist with DE&I, affirmative action, and employee engagement programs
Provide employee guidance on FMLA, LOA, ADA, benefits, and HR systems
Support labor relations activities including documentation and compliance
Serve as a visible HR partner through regular engagement on the production floor
Support HR audits, compliance reporting, and recordkeeping
Maintain HRIS data and generate standard and ad hoc reports
Partner with Talent Acquisition on requisitions and hiring compliance
Support HR programs including job fairs, training, payroll coordination, and staffing
Provide guidance and support to junior HR team members
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field, plus 2+ years of HR experience
or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Experience administering benefits, compensation, and HR programs
Proficiency with HRIS systems, payroll or timekeeping systems, and Microsoft Office
