Job Responsibilities
Lead the execution of scrum ceremonies and practices: sprint planning, estimation, backlog grooming, daily stand‑ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and reporting & metrics such as burn‑down charts and velocity.
Maintain a consistent flow of work through the team while monitoring the holistic view of the work.
Drive continuous improvement and change leadership.
Remove barriers and keep the team on track through issue management.
Identify potential problems that can impact the team and mitigate through risk management.
Create transparency by radiating information.
Required Skills
Agile mindset – Internalize and put in practice the Agile Manifesto and supporting practices, adopting a value‑focused, lean‑agile, systems‑thinking approach.
Communication & listening skills – Open communicator able to deliver messages with tact and sensitivity.
Servant leader – Lead by example, put the needs of team members first, motivate, mentor and coach to achieve self‑organization.
Continuous learning & growth mindset – Keep learning new skills that improve your performance and help others.
Collaboration – Partner with Product Owner, Program Teams, Product Managers, and stakeholders.
Facilitation – Facilitate meetings, decision‑making, and change; comfortable presenting in front of teams and stakeholders.
Negotiation & conflict resolution – Facilitate win‑win situations and healthy debate.
Critical thinking – Think on feet, analyze situations, and guide conversations.
Technology proficiency & engineering practices – Understand the technology and engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing.
Nice to have: Experience as a Scrum Master for an Enterprise Bank.
