Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Analyst - SQL in Phoenix, AZ.
Summary: The Analyst sits on the Data Analytics team and serves as the point‑of‑contact for all questions about data stored in the Data Warehouse. This position develops, maintains, and distributes presentations and reports. The Analyst extracts data from the warehouse to answer ad‑hoc questions and will also be analyzing requirements for report requests that come to the BI cross‑functional teams. The Analyst applies their understanding of the business and the data warehouse to evaluate information needs and recommends and develops appropriate solutions (metrics, analyses, data collection, tool functionality, etc.).
Principle Responsibilities
Researches and resolves data inquiries and requests
Provides insights and serves as a subject matter expert for all data in the warehouse
Writes ad‑hoc SQL queries to pull data out of the data warehouse
Documents requirements for data science and reporting projects
Supports the development of standard data analyses, reports, and dashboards
Collaborates with other teams to gather data and build relationships
Performs other job‑related duties as assigned or apparent
Requirements
1 or 2 years of experience in data analysis using SQL or other tools
Experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Strong working knowledge of SQL
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
