As a Process Operator you will operate, challenge and clean equipment, according to appropriate SOPs, JSAs, and batch documents to deliver high quality products manufactured in a safe way to fulfil the needs of the supply chain. You will monitor equipment for excessive rejects, resolve minor downtime occurrences, identify improvement opportunities and have the ability to changeover and set up equipment to design specifications.

The regular shift assignment is 12 hours. During the initial hire period, new employees may be assigned to an 8‑hour shift until assigned to their regular 12‑hour shift.
Note: There is a shift differential incentive for the “D” and “B” shift (nights).
Key Responsibilities
Operate, challenge, replenish consumable supplies, clean equipment, and perform all duties needed in accordance with cGMPs, batch documentation, SOPs, ZSPs and JSAs, maintaining inspection readiness with minimal supervision.
Monitor equipment for excessive rejects/passive stoppages and use performance data to escalate problems affecting product quality, safety or line performance.
Apply GSK Production System standards (5S, standard work, problem solving, Gemba, process confirmations and performance management) toward Zero Accidents, Zero Defects, Zero Waste.
Participate in performance management entry, steps 1‑3 of problem solving, and maintain OSW and 5S.
Deliver against safety, quality, waste & performance objectives, identify and recommend process improvements or alternative operating methods.
Serve as an expert on operations/process, troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment production stoppages.
Demonstrate reliable high‑quality, high‑quantity work with strong knowledge of job responsibilities.
Use required systems/applications (DELTA, my Learning, Free Weigh, DISY, Active Plant, IP21, SAP basic transactions).
Coordinate with associates, assistants or technicians for daily tasks and technical troubleshooting.
Explain the technological theory of operation, product flow, sensors, limit switches and proximity sensors.
Conduct equipment set‑up changeovers and start‑of‑batch activities to design specifications, certify on multiple technologies as needed.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
1+ years Pharma/Manufacturing experience.
Ability to handle up to 40 lbs. of materials.
Ability to work up to 12.5 hrs. in one shift if required.
Preferred Qualifications
Accurate handling of figures and information.
Effective data analysis skills.
Mechanically inclined with ability to learn operations, read gauges and instrumentation.
Knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Competent data entry, computer and HMI utilization.
Knowledge of area applications (DELTA, my Learning, Free Weigh, DISY, Active Plant, IP21, SAP).
Skills
Basic reading, writing and mathematical skills.
Basic computer skills – MS Word, MS Excel.
Accurate handling of figures and information.
Effective data analysis.
Mechanically inclined – learn operations, gauges, instrumentation for medical/ pharmaceutical production.
Traits
Visual inspection and attention to detail.
